VII-3. Scope Of Works
1. Description of the Works
The Integrated Fishing Port and International Fish Market Project Phase I funded by the
Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) is currently being implemented and is in the design review
stage by the construction management consultant. The Integrated Fishing Port and International
Fish Market Project Phase I intends to expand the port command area with construction and
revitalization areas. This project, package 2 of the Integrated Fishing Port and International
Fish Market Project Phase I is located in the Nusantara Kejawanan fishing port, West Java
Province.
1.1 Location of the Project
This project is located at the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Kejawanan, Cirebon City,
West Java Province, Indonesia. This location is a strategic port area on the north coast
of the island of Java.
1.2 Objective of the Project
The purpose of this project is to build an Integrated Fishing Port and International Fish
Market in PPN Kejawanan as part of the Integrated Fishing Ports and International
Fish Markets Phase I Project. This project aims to improve port infrastructure, support
capture fishery activities, strengthen the competitiveness of national fishery products,
and create a modern and export-viable fish market
1.3 Scope of Project
The scope of this project includes the following construction works:
a. Construction of breakwaters and embankments
b. Dredging of harbour ponds and canals
c. Land reclamation
d. Development of port buildings and infrastructure
e. Construction of piers and jetties
f. Road construction and drainage
2. Description of Package
2.1 General Information
Package 2 is included in the Phase I project funded by the Islamic Development Bank
(IsDB) and implemented through the International Competitive Bidding mechanism
limited to IsDB member countries. The employer is the Directorate General of Capture
Fisheries, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
2.2 Project Scale
The scope of development includes:
a. Breakwater and revetments: ±1,195 meters total length
b. Dredging: ±486,136 m³
c. Land reclamation: ±576,265 Ha
d. Buildings and infrastructure: more than 37 types of buildings and facilities
e. Wharf, Trestle and Jetty Construction: total length ±495 m
f. Roads and drainage: roads ±48,442 m² and drainage ±14,746 meters

2.4 Equipment
The main equipment required includes:
a. Amphibious Excavator
b. Dredger (CSD or BHD)
c. Dump Truck and Dozer
d. Crane and Pile Driver
e. Concrete Batching Plant and precast tools
f. Material quality testing equipment
3. Time Of Completion
The duration of the construction work is for 24 calendar months from the date of determination of
the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Time breakdowns for each of the major jobs are shown in the
following Gantt Chart:
4. Safety And Hazard Identification
The implementation of the project will refer to the policies and standards of K3 (Occupational
Safety and Health) in accordance with the guidelines of the IsDB and national regulations. The
commitments are summarized in the table below:
